2022 was a big year at Hanky Panky – we turned 45 and celebrated by donating 4,545 panties to the Helping Women Period (we know, we look young for our age). But it was truly a year of many milestones and they would not have been possible without you. Thank you for making our year as memorable as it was, and for being a part of our community. More than 2,000 of you participated in our Lingeriecycle® program! If you don’t know what Lingeriecycle® is—it is our lingerie recycling program that we happily relaunched this year. Speaking of responsible recycling, this year we launched our most sustainable fabric to date, ECO Rx™. ECO Rx™ was designed with the planet and your ultimate comfort in mind. Not only is ECO Rx™ soft (like, seriously soft), it’s made of fabric you can feel better in and about: 95% TENCEL™ x REFIBRA™ and 5% spandex. In our continuous effort to support the circular economy we recycled 20,000 pounds of fabric scrap. This significant accomplishment has a positive impact on the environment by reducing waste, conserving natural resources, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. These materials are turned into new products, such as rags, insulation, and other products, rather than being sent to landfills. As we strive to continuously reduce our environmental impact, we thank you for your support.

With our BEAM donation option at checkout, your orders helped us donate over $40,000 to the non-profits you care about most. These included Project HOPE: Crisis in Ukraine Fund, NY Women's Foundation, Child Mind Institute, Everytown Support Fund, One Tree Planted, and Helping Women Period. We also made donations to Native American Rights Fund, All Out, Queer Detainee Empowerment Project, Canadian Cancer Society, and Planned Parenthood. Thank you for helping us give back.

On Giving Tuesday, we partnered with Hearts of Gold and you helped us donate over 2000 panties to women experiencing homelessness who are getting back on their feet. We are so grateful to continue to partner with this organization and your impact made it an extra special Giving Tuesday.

It was a long time coming, and we finally opened our first-ever retail store in the West Village this August! And only three months later, we opened our second retail location in Williamsburg! We are so excited to see you IRL in NYC and in future locations. Come visit us!
