Gurung was elected vice chair of the CFDA (The Council of Fashion Designers of America) in 2022 and is at the forefront of American fashion with his designs being worn by leading ladies including First Lady Michelle Obama and the Duchess of Cambridge.               Behind the Petals
              “We initially started with the rhododendron flower which is native to Nepal, where Prabal is from, and it evolved from there. We wanted to think about what the flower embodies– it is often a metaphor for women, blooming, coming into their own.
