What is something unseen about you? The Cut Out Dress was designed to reveal that extra bit of skin and encourage confidence and strength. This barely-there, body-skimming mesh and jersey dress features a plunging illusion neckline and a cutout back. The midi length makes it a versatile piece to dress up or down.

About Prabal Gurung

Prabal Gurung launched his eponymous brand in 2009 with a philosophy encompassing modern luxury, indelible style and an astute sense of glamor. Gurung was elected vice chair of the CFDA (The Council of Fashion Designers of America) in 2022 and is at the forefront of American fashion with his designs being worn by leading ladies including First Lady Michelle Obama and the Duchess of Cambridge. The brand is manufactured in New York City to uphold standards of quality while supporting the local community.

A Collaboration With Intention

“With Hanky Panky being leaders in the lingerie market, that caliber of expertise and experience gave me the courage to play around here with things I've never done with my ready-to-wear.” - Prabal Gurung

These pieces were crafted with specially-designed hardware and embroidered details uniquely created for this collection. Feminine lace and mesh are juxtaposed with metal detailing–from hook and eye details to hexagon hardware featured throughout the collection.

Behind the Petals
“We initially started with the rhododendron flower which is native to Nepal, where Prabal is from, and it evolved from there. We wanted to think about what the flower embodies– it is often a metaphor for women, blooming, coming into their own. So we wanted this collaboration to be for women to express themselves.” - Makeda Scille, Hanky Panky Director of Design
