The Retro Lace Thong Granite Grey is praised for its high rise and comfort, though some customers have noted issues with the lace's softness and stretch. The variety of colors is well-received, and the fit is generally satisfactory. However, there are mixed opinions on the sizing and delivery.

"These thongs are top notch, unlike anything I have ever worn. They do not ride up like others thongs. They stay in place on the sides and do not roll up, so they look great under clothing. These are my go-to thongs when I need to wear a thong. They are super comfortable as well and the lace makes them super sexy. Highly recommend! You won’t regret it!"
"The Supima Cotton Retro Thong is incredibly comfortable. It is attractive and with the wide lace waistband it lies flat under my jeans. It is a pretty color as well. I hope these will become available in more colors and even prints at some point. I will buy them all. 💕"
"I have been wearing these undies for 20 years. Nothing makes me feel sexier and prettier to cover my fupa and still be confident in my underwear and bras. It's the best!! My favorite are the high-waisted thong that are lace and silky. I will never stop wearing them!"
"I swear these are even softer and silkier than my other pairs! Love hanky panky retro thongs. My everyday underwear for years."
"I should just have these on autoship every couple of months bc I love them so much!"
"The seam connecting the band and the gusset seems (seams…?) to be stronger on these, and I really appreciate that, since along that seam is usually where holes develop over time."
"Very comfortable and does not leave a panty crease. Does not slip down or ride up in the back or front."
"I've purchased several colors of the original and retro thongs. They are cute and comfortable."
"This has helped me feel more confident during my postpartum months. It helps you feel some support in the lower belly area without sinking in or changing your body shape. the absolute best fit!"
"This thong looks amazing and fits great. Very comfortable!"
